My Peeps at Sundance

January 27,2011
Tiffany Shlain’s Connected screened tonight at the Sundance Kabuki Cinema. The Sundance Film Festival is extending its connection with several cities that demonstrate a love and care for independent cinema. Park City,Utah can’t handle all of us: bring it to the cinema cities, Mr. Redford.
Tiffany’s film is one of the most visually kinetic documentary experiences you have on offer. Your humble pixel ploughman will alert when it comes out on DVD or PBS.

Here is a review in The Hollywood Reporter.

David Weissman directed and Bill Weber co-directed and edited We Were Here and it grabbed the Park City audience. For those of us who lived through the early 1980s in San Francisco and witnessed the sadness of losing friends and the rise of an exceptional community response of San Franciscans to save our neighbors, this film is an inspiring tribute to the best of us.
I will also announce when this film releases on DVD or comes to public television.
